The countdown for economic operators in the home sector to the commercial period of the year that drives the most transactions, Christmas, has already begun, and one of its major sectoral barometers starts this Thursday (and runs until Saturday) at EXPONOR – Porto International Fair, featuring the latest news from various exhibiting companies. They will focus on The Essence of Simple (the essence of simplicity), the theme of the 29th edition of Ceranor – Home, Decoration, and Gift, where retail professionals from various activity segments explore trends, look for new suppliers, and place their orders. The event’s new motto served for the organization to “highlight the difference and importance of small elements and details in creating harmonious and balanced environments, bringing together the essentials of the proposals” from decoration, tableware, kitchen, bath, party, and gift companies, as noted by the General Manager of EXPONOR, Diogo Barbosa.
Ceranor is one of EXPONOR‘s historic events and stands as the meeting point for professionals in the sector. It brings together home and decoration retailers, party, gift, and stationery stores, interior decorators and designers, decision-makers from department stores, hotels, restaurants, and similar establishments, as well as party and event organizers.
Spain, Brazil, Poland, Paraguay, Algeria, Morocco, Cape Verde, and Libya are some of the countries of origin of the professionals (40% of whom will be decorators and over 33% retailers and wholesalers) who pre-registered online to prepare their visit.
According to the Porto International Fair team, there are several reasons buyers cite for visiting the show: it makes it possible to find a wide variety of offers and suppliers in the same place; it allows them to discover the latest news and trends in the sector; and it creates an opportunity to make a properly compared and considered purchasing decision in person with little time expenditure.
