ELETRICA Young Installers Award
Integrated into ELETRICA 2026, the ELETRICA Young Installers Award is an initiative by Exponor – Porto International Fair, with the technical support of the IEP – Portuguese Electrotechnical Institute. It was created to value professional training and recognize the talent, technical skills, innovation, rigor, and safety of young people in the fields of electricity, electronics, and telecommunications, bringing future professionals closer to the labor market.
Who can apply?
Officially recognized educational institutions providing professional courses in these areas may apply, presenting a project developed by a student or a team of up to four students, under the coordination of a responsible teacher. Functional prototypes demonstrating technical quality, compliance with applicable standards, innovation capacity, applicability, and suitability for public display in a fair context will be valued.
Until when?
Applications are open from October 12 to 29, 2026.
Up to five projects will be selected for exhibition during ELETRICA 2026.
The projects selected for exhibition will be awarded prizes in kind, consisting of materials provided by the sponsoring companies Quitérios, Efapel, and Siluz.
Eletrica is the main Portuguese fair dedicated to the energy, mobility, electronics, and electrical equipment sector. From November 18 to 21, 2026, at Exponor.
